Grey is not a default. In the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, it is one of the most expressive palettes in interior design — cool in tone, warm in presence, and endlessly layered when the right pieces are brought together.

The Slate Tableau is three such pieces.

The Grey Velvet Square Cushion (22" × 22") anchors the arrangement with authority. Dense velvet in a rich, saturated grey — its pile shifting between slate and silver as light changes, backed in cotton flax and weighted with feathers. The cushion that makes a sofa look considered without any further effort.

The Lyra Grey Square Cotton Cushion (20" × 20") introduces craft and contrast. An ivory cotton flax base carries a bold geometric pattern hand-embroidered in grey velvet — the lightness of the ground allowing the grey thread to sit forward and breathe, bringing structure and dimension to the composition.

The Velinen Charcoal Rectangular Cushion (14" × 22") completes the set with maximum tonal impact. Its ivory and charcoal colour block — rendered in linen and velvet — introduces the deepest note in the arrangement, grounding the lighter pieces and bringing a graphic precision that holds the entire composition together.
